Overview

Practical advice for the workplace

Our Employment Law practice advises on employment-related issues and supports organisations in documenting and managing employment relationships. Our work covers employment contracts and letters, employee policies, workplace-related advisory and matters arising during the course of employment.

A significant part of our practice is focused on Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) matters, where we support organisations and Internal Committees through advisory, constitution and formation, reporting, training and sensitisation requirements.

We assist organisations in building clear employment documentation, sound workplace policies and effective POSH compliance mechanisms.

Areas of practice

Employment Advisory

We advise on employment-related issues arising in the workplace, including matters concerning employment relationships, employee-related issues and the legal aspects of workplace decisions.

Employment Contracts & Documentation

We draft, review and vet employment documentation, including offer letters, employment agreements, termination letters and other documents relating to the employment relationship.

Employment & Employee Policies

We draft and vet employment and employee policies and advise on the legal framework and requirements relevant to workplace policies and internal employee practices.

POSH — Internal Committee

We act as external counsel to Internal Committees and advise organisations in relation to the appointment and formation of Internal Committees and their functioning under the applicable POSH framework.

POSH — Advisory

We provide advisory support in relation to POSH matters and Internal Committee-related issues, including guidance on the legal and procedural aspects of matters handled by the Internal Committee.

POSH — Annual Reporting

We assist with preparation and submission of the annual report and related reporting requirements applicable to organisations and Internal Committees.

POSH — Training & Sensitisation

We conduct training and sensitisation sessions relating to POSH requirements, supporting awareness among employees and Internal Committee members and strengthening workplace compliance.

POSH Support

Our POSH work covers the practical functioning of Internal Committees as well as broader organisational compliance, including constitution and formation of the Committee, ongoing advisory support, annual reporting, and training and sensitisation programmes.
